Am 30.12.2013 wurden die neuen Release Updates für VSP (Version 5.9) und Sentry (4.9) von MobileIron veröffentlicht. Neben diversen Neuerungen ist vor allem Help@Work ein heiß erwartetes Feature. Damit können Administratoren remote auf den Bildschirm von iOS Endgeräten schauen.

  • Updated Check for Updates visual design
  • Italian, Romanian, and Slovak localization

iOS Web@Work v1.2
This release includes a new in-app settings pane with the About screen and controls for clearing the browser history, cookies, and website data.

A number of issues are also resolved, including:

  • Tapping buttons that call functions using a JavaScript URL no longer results in the display of a blank tab in Web@Work
  • Upgrading from Web@Work 1.1.2 with no Mobile@Work app installed no longer results in an error message concerning app authorization
  • Web@Work now correctly reports frame-specific loading errors. Previously, it reported these errors for the whole page.

Android Mobile@Work v5.9
Release date: Expected towards the end of January 2014 (subject to change).

Web@Work for Android v1.2

  • URL auto-complete with browser history
  • Improved session persistence
  • Support for multi-locale websites
  • Encrypted storage for cookies and browser history with posture-based wipe

New Platform Support

  • Windows 8.1 & Windows 8.1 RT (tablets and laptops)
